Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Assured Home Health. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exercise instruction and patient education to improve patient well-being, following the established plan of care.
  • Perform treatment and assist patients with active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
  • Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in patient condition to the supervising PT, nurse supervisor, and/or physician.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare team members as appropriate.
  • Instruct patients, family, caregivers, and other healthcare team members in therapy areas within the scope of the physical therapy assistant.
Qualifications:
  • Current licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of OR.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
