About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Manager to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing profitable new business opportunities that can be transitioned to our Territory Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue high-potential new business opportunities that align with our sales and profit operating plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to understand customer requirements and preferences.
  • Work closely with our Category and Segment Specialists to create customized solutions for prospective accounts.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Solutions Coordinator, Sales Coordinator, and Territory Managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new accounts.
  • Utilize our company's IT tools to identify high-potential opportunities and update progress.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of opening accounts greater than $0.5m.
  • Exceptional sales and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present in front of large groups.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Please note that compensation may vary based on experience, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. In California, the expected compensation for this role is between $94,700 and $126,300.
