Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Project Manager to join our team in the Fort Wayne area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with clients, finding new projects, and managing them from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design control solutions that meet project specs and client requirements.
  • Estimate project costs and prepare proposals that align with client expectations.
  • Oversee projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met, while coordinating with customers and contractors.
  • Collaborate with management to improve workflows and tools, providing insights for business strategy.
  • Promote and advocate for our control systems, showcasing their benefits to potential clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, architects, engineers, and contractors, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Travel across Northern Indiana, Southern Michigan, and Northwest Ohio to engage with clients and markets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, especially in building retrofits and new construction projects.

Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, mechanical, or a related field preferred.
  • Solid understanding of HVAC control systems and industry fundamentals.
  • Sales experience with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Team player with a desire to learn and grow in a technical field.
  • Able to pass a background check for working in schools and other sensitive areas.
  • Ability to travel to surrounding states.
