Position Summary:

This role is responsible for leading the eCommerce process of receiving grocery orders from customers online, ensuring orders are picked, properly bagged and stored, and in place for pick-up in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the eCommerce process for receiving customer's online orders and picking or delegating picking of orders.
  • Review customer comments/special instructions to ensure product selected matches customer's request; resolve issues as necessary.
  • Ensure quality control and handle products carefully during selection and packing to minimize damage.
  • Scan order products, confirm order totals for products priced by the pound and substituted items.
  • Store orders at proper temperature and report any issues to management.
  • Provide focused and effective customer service, resolving complaints promptly.
  • Implement service programs and maintain high standards of service.
  • Follow safety guidelines, food safety standards, and guest experience expectations.
  • May be assigned tasks in other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of retail or related experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to make decisions and problem solve.
  • Detail-oriented with knowledge of products and store layout.
  • Proficient in MS office applications.
  • Flexible schedule based on department needs.

Physical Requirements:

The associate must be able to lift and move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The role requires standing and walking for extended periods and frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and turning. Associate works in a retail store environment with varied temperatures and noise levels.
