Role Overview

What is the role and context?
Our client is a prominent international organization that is currently enhancing its data and technology capabilities to support core business growth and improve internal efficiency.

This well-established enterprise has significantly expanded into new markets in recent years, positioning technology and innovation at the forefront of its operations.

As a result, they are making substantial investments in RPA and Automation technologies to streamline and automate various processes, aiming for increased efficiency and productivity across all departments.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a technically proficient individual to develop functional and business-facing experience alongside a dynamic automation project team.

The project is in its initial stages, making this role vital in shaping the future roadmap for the Automation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

What will I be doing?
- Developing RPA and Automation solutions with a focus on scalability and user-friendliness.
- Collaborating with Product Owners, Group Process Owners, and Business Analysts to design and implement project plans.
- Working alongside the Automation Team Lead and Transformation team to execute deployment strategies.
- Gaining exposure to diverse technology challenges and solutions, driving the adoption of best practices in coding, design, quality, and performance within the team.
- Identifying potential candidates for automation and evaluating their feasibility.
- Assisting in the training of best practices in RPA and Automation tools.

Required Skills and Background

What skills and background will I require?
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using leading RPA platforms, preferably Blue Prism or Power Automate.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA, Access, .NET, Java, SQL, with a particular emphasis on Bot development.
- Familiarity with Python is advantageous.
- A broad understanding of AI technologies and a keen interest in advancements in the Automation sector.
- Comprehensive experience in software design/development and database architecture.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of customers and partners across various disciplines.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
