About This Role
The Customer Support Engineer position at WheelHouse IT is a critical role that requires a skilled professional to provide technical support for customer's core business applications and virtual environments. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft-related technologies, developing system solutions using various technologies, and implementing disaster recovery solutions.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves:

  • Providing technical support for customer's core business applications and virtual environments.
  • Designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft-related technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server.
  • Developing system solutions using various technologies to meet customer needs.
  • Implementing and supporting disaster recovery solutions.
  • Providing network-level technical services including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
  • Implementing and supporting remote access solutions such as VPN and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Creating system documentation and providing consulting services, including system reviews and recommendations.
  • Communicating effectively with customers regarding incident progress, impending changes, and agreed outages.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of MSP IT experience.
  • 5+ years of IT or related experience.
  • Professional IT certifications such as MCP, MCSA, or MCSE.
  • Familiarity with the ConnectWise tool stack.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer care.
  • Strong diagnosis skills for technical issues.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Technical awareness to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
  • Service awareness of all organization's key IT services.
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and technology used to provide IT services.
  • Typing skills for quick and accurate entry of service request details.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

Estimated Salary Range
$90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
