Learn to access and interpret production and financial performance reports for your department. Recognize the link between consistent execution and its positive impact on business outcomes.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Accurately research and annotate receiving reports, including direct-to-club and negative-on-hand reports. Organize and maintain receipts and outbound shipment documentation. Ensure dock security, perform bag checks, and monitor the flow of team members and visitors in and out of receiving and secure areas. Ensure compactors are secured and only accessible to authorized personnel, confirming all products are accounted for. Accurately receive merchandise and ensure proper storage according to specifications. Process Direct Store Delivery (DSD) loads and manage DSD credits. Handle reverse logistics and corporate-initiated returns. Maintain an organized and clean dock area. Adhere to all club policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned, including assisting in other departments as necessary. Regular and predictable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position.Qualifications
Successful completion of required training and certification processes is mandatory. Previous forklift experience is preferred. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.Working Conditions
The majority of the time will involve continuous movement on hard surfaces. Frequent bending, climbing, crawling, pulling, reaching, and stooping will be required, including the use of ladders or step stools. Lifting objects up to 30 pounds is frequently necessary, with the potential for heavier items requiring assistance. Use of a pallet jack to maneuver pallets is common. Frequent exposure to both indoor and outdoor temperatures, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers. Regular exposure to hazardous materials.In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position starts at $16.75.
