Job Summary

The Quality Control Technician at Simon Pearce is responsible for inspecting glass and/or pottery products to ensure they meet the company's quality control standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and grade glass and pottery products to determine compliance with specifications and quality control standards
  • Communicate quality issues with QC and Production Managers
  • Stamp Simon Pearce insignia on first-quality glass items
  • Complete all necessary paper and computer work for inventory control
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
