We are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Specialist to join our team at Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for managing work orders, tracking inventory, and providing support across vendor and engineering engagements.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and maintain work orders in SAP and Solumina to ensure accurate production tracking.
- Provide Vendor Assist Support, collaborating with suppliers to resolve issues and meet delivery deadlines.
- Manage visual management tools and maintain the Line of Balance (LOB) for optimal production flow.
- Engage with engineering and suppliers to track and manage First Article Inspection (FAI) and Change Requests (CRs).
- Respond to and resolve Quality Notifications in a timely manner.
- Run SAP reports to monitor inventory status, WIP (Work-in-Progress), and production efficiency.
- Participate in Tier Meetings, providing updates on production status and addressing any ongoing challenges.
- Strong proficiency in SAP and Solumina for work order management and inventory control.
- Effective communication and organizational skills to engage with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related industry is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a 2nd or 3rd shift environment.
- Familiarity with FAI, CR tracking, and Quality Notification processes.
