Seasonal Health Insurance Representative

We are seeking a Seasonal Licensed Health Insurance Agent to support our customers with their Medicare or Marketplace health insurance plans during the AEP/OEP season. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for explaining the features and advantages of available medical plans, working to bring new members on, and supporting current members with cost/plan analysis to identify the best products for them during their yearly review.
About the Role
This is a sales position, but unlike other sales positions, we have paid training, and we are not commission-based. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of customers, each with unique needs and circumstances. You will need to be able to communicate effectively, build rapport, and provide personalized support to ensure our customers receive the best possible service.
Responsibilities
* Explain the features and advantages of available medical plans to customers* Work to bring new members on and support current members with cost/plan analysis* Identify the best products for customers during their yearly review* Provide personalized support to ensure customers receive the best possible service* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience* Meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction targets* Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices*
Requirements
* High school diploma or GED required* Resident Health Insurance License in hand with CE completed (Both Life and Health License required for some clients)* Sales skills: charismatic and persuasive individuals who excel at building relationships and connecting with others* Technical proficiency: intermediate/advanced technical proficiency* Availability: open availability between 7am-12am EST 7 days a week during season* Pay expectation: our seasonal pay rates move to $21/hr on the first day of the selling season and return to base rates after the selling season*
