We are seeking a highly skilled Cabinet Sales Professional to join the team of a reputable client. As a key player in our sales team, your most important duty is about creating and nurturing relationships. You will be responsible for increasing the level of personal interface with existing customers and adding new customers. Proven sales strategies, commitment follow-through, and heavy communication are all necessary for success in this role. The territory for this position includes Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. This position requires travel 3-4 days per week, with 1-2 office days per week. Most travel can be conducted with day trips, but occasional overnight travel (2-3 nights per month) is also required. Company vehicle will be provided and travel expenses will be covered by the company.

Requirements for Success
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in sales
  • Experience in selling cabinets and countertops to builders in the SE Michigan market
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and consistent follow-up
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attend trade shows for the industry
Education
  • Business Administration degree or similar is helpful, but not required
