Group Sales Manager

NASCAR is seeking a highly motivated and organized Group Sales Manager to lead one of the hardest driving sales teams in sports. As a key member of the Richmond Raceway business unit, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team, driving ticket revenue, and developing strong relationships with local colleges and universities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive ticket revenue and grow the sales team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local colleges and universities to identify new sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with track leadership to identify new sales initiatives and opportunities
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to inform sales strategies and tactics

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a sports sales environment
  • Prior experience in a group sales environment preferred
  • Prior experience leading a team
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous CRM platform experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office skills required
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees, clients, officers, and peers in a professional manner
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Passion for building and guiding the sales process
