Overview

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Intune and SCCM administrator to enhance our IT department for a temporary contract role. This position involves overseeing the management, deployment, and troubleshooting of devices, applications, and updates utilizing Microsoft Intune and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). You will play a key role in significant projects, including upgrades from Windows 10 to 11 and addressing unmanaged workstation issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, monitor, and sustain the Microsoft Intune and SCCM infrastructure along with associated policies.
  • Manage the deployment of devices, applications, and updates through Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
  • Diagnose and resolve challenges related to device management, application deployment, and update installations.
  • Support the Windows 10 to 11 upgrade initiative, which includes testing, deployment, and post-upgrade assistance.
  • Contribute to the unmanaged workstation remediation project by identifying, enrolling, and ensuring compliance of devices.
  • Offer technical support and direction to end users and fellow IT personnel.
  • Document and report on activities and performance related to device management.

Required Qualifications

To excel in the role of Intune/SCCM administrator, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a role focused on Microsoft Intune/SCCM administration or a similar capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Intune and SCCM functionalities, features, and best practices.
  • Experience with Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, particularly in deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with unmanaged workstation remediation processes, including device discovery, enrollment, and compliance management.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Intune and SCCM, covering device management, application deployment, policy configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and PowerShell.
  • Understanding of best practices and standards for device security, compliance, and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with provisioning tools like Microsoft Autopilot for automating device setup and configuration.
  • Capability to troubleshoot and resolve common issues related to device enrollment, compliance, and connectivity.
