Job Title: Senior IT Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Operations Specialist to join our IT Operations Team at Aludec. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our employees, including setup and configuration of laptop and desktop computers, email login requests, and developing online support documentation.

Responsibilities:

* Provide 1st level of support for inbound email and phone-based technical support for on-site employees
* Setup and configure laptop and desktop computers (Software installs, patches, etc.)
* Request email logins from corporate IT during onboarding in coordination with HR
* Develop and update online support documentation
* Perform systems administration functions for Windows 365 infrastructure, Exchange, software updates, anti-virus, backups, and CRM systems
* Avaya phone system administration - Setup/deploy phones to on-site personnel (Avaya IP Office 500)
* Other duties as required

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed course or have working knowledge in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
* 2+ years experience in an IT helpdesk/systems administration role
* Ability to work to a strict deadline
* Experience with SQL preferred but not required
* Strong desire to learn and grow
* Knowledge of databases and operating systems
* Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software
* Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
* Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
* Physical ability to lift/move/haul computers/monitors/servers/etc
