Cloud Engineer III (AVD) Job Description

Old National Bank is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer III (AVD) to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions that enhance end-user experiences, security, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-to-end support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including diagnosing and resolving complex and critical issues.
  • Manage and optimize AVD session hosts, including assigning them to new users, scaling them up or down based on demand and utilization.
  • Design and implement endpoint management and security strategies using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), including configuring policies for device compliance, conditional access, and security baselines.
  • Architect, deploy, and manage AVD environments for remote desktop access, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AVD with other Azure services.
  • Implement user experience enhancement within AVD, including profile management, application delivery, and user personalization.
  • Enforce security and compliance policies for AVD, including encryption, access controls, and data protection.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Azure Virtual Desktop or similar cloud-based virtual desktop solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop architecture, administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Azure Virtual Desktop migration, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) policies and configuration profiles.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
