Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all aspects of parts control and standardization plans are implemented and executed.
  • Review datasheets, compare technical characteristics of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components, and provide recommendations for potential alternate part replacements.
  • Generate piece part documentation for procurement purposes and submit required program reports.
  • Develop and implement a parts control plan and drive the technical obsolescence mitigation process for a program.

This role involves working as a team member with a concentration in mechanical and electrical design of circuit cards and required housings for communications systems.
