Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Repair Specialist to join our team at IPG Photonics. This role is responsible for repairing and testing LightWELD handheld welders in the repair depot and in the field, as well as providing technical support to customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Repair and test LightWELD handheld welders in the repair depot and in the field
  • Accomplish all aspects of the repair and testing of the LightWELD
  • Troubleshoot and optimize laser systems
  • Packaging and shipping of LightWELDs and components to customer locations
  • Coordinate activities with the Product Support group to meet customer requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience with industrial lasers, accessories, and related diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings
Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
