We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Gentiva Hospice in Branford, CT. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families in their homes.
Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist patients with ambulation and transfer to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
- Prepare and serve light meals and snacks, and assist with feeding patients as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing.
- 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology.
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Current CPR certification.
