Job Title: Head of Product

At Stateless, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Product to lead our product development team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the development process, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery, and driving innovation in our product lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the product development team to design, develop, and launch new products that meet client aesthetic and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic manufacturing partners and internal cross-functional departments.
  • Communicate effectively with the Chief Project Officer to ensure efficient flow of goods and services, and evaluate, manage, and mitigate potential risks to deadlines and new initiatives.
  • Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet calendar milestones, and manage compliance with the T&A calendar in conjunction with important milestones.
  • Facilitate regular cross-functional team meetings to troubleshoot and resolve development or quality issues.
  • Identify sourcing strategies and manage effective sourcing of materials and factories.
  • Responsible for building the development and WIPS chart for all styles and materials per season, and maintaining and updating weekly as needed.
  • Work with clients to select fabrics and trims to meet design aesthetics, price points, and quality needs, and identify alternative solutions to meet cost requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date costing, and create and maintain project tools and databases.
  • Document and communicate accurate records of style FIT corrections, and communicate all design changes/updates to appropriate internal and external partners.
  • Ensure all samples are 100% correct and on time.
  • Provide situational leadership at an advanced level, and provide client-facing services at a high level of professionalism and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; 7-10 years of development experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction and materials sourcing, and ability to leverage analytical skills to evaluate information carefully and solve complex problems.
  • Previously honed factory relationships (both domestic and overseas).
  • Consulting experience preferred.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills (phone, email, and presentations); outgoing and confident.
  • Writing skills and ability to speak in the tone of the brand; intentional communication, being able to communicate well both online and offline and across different departments.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing requirements and technologies.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to track and manage products throughout the entire development cycle.
  • Knowledge of Google Drive, Excel, and basic AI usage.
