About the Role

CYB Human Resources is seeking a dedicated Youth Program Development and Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that support the well-being of youth impacted by trauma.

Job Summary

The Youth Program Development and Support Specialist will work closely with our Child and Youth Services Program Manager to develop and implement Pathways activities and Camp Hope programming. This includes connecting with participants as a mentor, providing emotional support and guidance, and helping to plan and implement program events.

Responsibilities
  • Form trusting relationships and rapport with participants and their caregivers
  • Provide consistent, impactful, and trauma-informed mentorship to participating youth
  • Assist in planning and implementation of Pathways and other child and youth program events
  • Develop a data tracking system for RAC Children and Youth programming
  • Screen and interview Camp Hope Counselors
  • Work closely and cooperatively in a team setting with Rose Andom Center staff, interns, and volunteers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field
  • Bi-lingual Spanish speaking
  • Live in the Denver Metro area year-round
  • Availability for monthly Thursday evening and Saturday availability for Pathways events
  • Must have full-time availability to attend Camp Hope America-Colorado

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide training and ongoing support on domestic violence dynamics, family justice center principles, trauma-informed care, de-escalation and crisis intervention for children, adverse childhood experiences, hope research / hope theory, and mentorship and/or clinical social work field supervision.
