We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to creating an exceptional student experience.

Job DescriptionRole Responsibilities
  • Assume personal responsibility for student achievement and develop standards-based instructional plans, including unit plans, scope and sequences, week at a glance, and daily lesson plans.
  • Implement all students' IEPs, 504 Plans, ALPs, BIPs, and MTSS-aligned interventions with consistency and fidelity, including providing accommodations, modifications, and progress monitoring as outlined in student plans.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with students and families based on trust and respect, and approach practice with a sense of urgency to maximize instructional time.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and seek feedback in the spirit of continuous improvement, and reflect on professional practices to meet individual professional development goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Spanish bilingual preferred.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience highly preferred but not required.
  • Able to participate in specific, pre-planned and required events/activities as directed by the school, including before or after-school, evening, and weekend meetings and events.
  • Full understanding and commitment to an Exceptional Student Experience.
  • Commitment to and experience with youth of various cultural and economic backgrounds.

We offer a competitive market salary starting at $60,015, which is commensurate with experience, and no cap on the years of experience you bring to this role.
