Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients, focusing on their recovery goals and obstacles.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and support networks to develop and implement personalized recovery plans.
- Assist clients with daily concerns, such as transportation, grocery shopping, and communication with social services.
- Facilitate applications with housing authorities and communicate with landlords to ensure stable housing for clients.
- Participate in individual and group supervision to enhance therapeutic and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in the human services field.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with diverse individuals.
- Caring and empathetic approach, with a desire to support individuals in need.
- Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
