Job Title: Residential Instructor
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Instructor to join our team at Community Residences. As a Residential Instructor, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement individualized programs that cater to the unique needs and goals of each client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized programs for clients, focusing on social, emotional, and physical skills.
- Provide guidance and support to clients in daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal care, and household chores.
- Monitor and record client progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of client care.
- Participate in mandatory training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related Human Services field or Associate's degree with one year of experience.
- Valid CT driver's license and good driving record.
- First Aid, CPR, and PMT certification.
- Ability to lift and transfer 70-75 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
Work Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 3pm-9pm, Monday, 3pm-11pm.
