Property & Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Property & Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance of 37+ Tim Hortons restaurants. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing QSR facilities, ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, coordinating with third-party service providers, and optimizing profitable operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement interior and exterior routine preventative maintenance of building, property, and equipment to extend lifespan.
  • Conduct regular inspections of restaurant properties to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Manage maintenance and repair schedules for all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, Owl Ops, and structural elements.
  • Ensure all locations meet local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors as necessary to review quotes and schedule service.
  • Manage facility-related budgets, negotiate contracts with service providers, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, service requests, and vendor agreements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Property or Facilities Manager, preferably in the quick service restaurant (QSR) industry or similar fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance protocols, and repair processes.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to adapt and prioritize tasks while managing time effectively.
  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, contract negotiation, and cost management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while also playing a key role within a larger team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with Kelton team and vendors.

Travel Requirements: Possess valid Driver's License and have access to a vehicle and/or reliable transportation to Kelton Enterprises' headquarters located in Amherst, NY. Routine travel within and around Buffalo and Rochester restaurant locations as required to fulfill job responsibilities.

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 annual salary depending on qualifications and experience.
