Job Opportunity

Chestnut Ridge Apartments, managed by National Property Management Associates Inc, is seeking a skilled Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our 108-unit residential community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Perform maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including repairs and replacements
  • Assist in the setup and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems
  • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Inspect and repair alarm systems, including fire and protection systems
  • Perform manual repairs, including lock fixes and window replacements
  • Appliance repair and troubleshooting
  • Conduct general upkeep procedures, pool maintenance, and other tasks as assigned
  • Be available for on-call responsibilities as assigned by the property manager

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the multi-family industry
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywalling, painting, and other maintenance processes
  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods and tools
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior HVAC experience is a plus

Compensation:

$25 per hour, with wages determined based on experience, qualifications, skill set, and internal equity
