Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC troubleshooting and installation, and electrical work.
  • Inspect and repair mechanical systems to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
  • Assist in the setup and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems.
  • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
  • Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed.
  • Perform manual repairs, including fixing locks and replacing windows.
  • Appliance repair and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct general upkeep procedures, pool maintenance, and other tasks as assigned.
  • On-call responsibilities as assigned by property manager.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the multi-family industry.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywalling, painting, and other trades.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Good physical condition and strength.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • HVAC experience preferred.

Compensation:

$25 per hour. Wages are determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, skill set, and internal equity.
