Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and distribute clean linen to patient care areas, ensuring adequate supplies are available at all times.
  • Fill and inventory linen carts, weighing clean and soiled linen bins to maintain accurate records.
  • Clean and disinfect linen storage areas, adhering to established infection control and safety protocols.
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all areas, including clinical, support, and common spaces.
  • Handle and dispose of medical waste and sharps, following proper procedures and precautions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest infection control and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • 6 months of experience in linen handling, healthcare, Environmental Services, customer service, janitorial, or hospitality.
  • Ability to follow basic oral and written instructions in English.
