About the Role

B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Start-Up and Warranty Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing mechanical equipment, including refrigeration and electronics circuits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including accurate diagnostics of refrigeration and electronics circuits.
  • Install and service duct systems, DX piping systems, chilled water piping systems, thermal storage systems, and building automation systems.
  • Communicate effectively with the office team and customers about issues, repairs, and project time requirements.
  • Perform tasks with precision, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the field.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with at least two years of field experience and a track record of quality workmanship.
  • A two-year Technical College Degree or equivalent Trade School Diploma preferred.
  • EPA and OSHA 10 Certification Required.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear Driving Record, Drug Test, and Background check are required.
  • Must be able to see well, use hands and fingers fully, lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds, and stand for long periods of time.
