Job Title: Diesel Mechanic/Technician I

Are you a skilled diesel mechanic looking for a challenging and rewarding career? Do you have a passion for working with heavy-duty equipment? We're seeking a highly experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician I to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing.

About the Role:

As a Diesel Mechanic/Technician I, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. You will work independently, using your expertise and experience to diagnose and repair complex issues. You will also be responsible for mentoring and training junior technicians, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Mentor and train junior technicians
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and support staff to achieve team goals
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in diesel mechanics and heavy-duty equipment repair
  • ASE certification in diesel mechanics and heavy-duty equipment repair
  • Valid driver's license and CDL preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
