Job Title: Count Team Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Count Team Attendant to join our team at Colonial Downs Group LLC. As a Count Team Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient count of all areas of the casino.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Count Room Operations: Unlock and open drop boxes and bill validators, removing contents and rotating boxes to expose inside to camera and to co-workers.
  • Counting and Recording: Segregate contents of boxes (opening/closing slips, coins, chips, and currency). Counting contents and documenting contents.
  • Currency Counting: Operate currency-counting machine to count bill validator drop currency.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile and verify totals and then have the totals reconciled and accepted by Cage employees.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Responsible for minor repairs and maintenance of Count room equipment.
  • General Upkeep: Maintains general upkeep of Count room.
  • Equipment Management: Notifies Supervisor of malfunctioning equipment.
  • Key Management: Pick up and return keys for drop boxes.

Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Training and Licensing: Attend required training sessions offered by the Company. Obtain and retain required license(s).
  • Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Minor Protection: Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Knowledge and Reporting: Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member's department. Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must have a high school diploma. Requires repetitive motions, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, standing, bending, teamwork, basic math skills, use of 10-key calculator, coin-counter, and currency counter.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Virginia Racing Commission License. Valid Driver's License with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.
