Job Overview

The Plumbing Service Expert plays a vital role in diagnosing, fixing, and maintaining plumbing systems, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and performance in sales. This role requires technical proficiency, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Issue Identification: Assess plumbing problems and ascertain the necessary tools and materials for resolution.
  • Cost Assessment: Generate detailed estimates of work expenses for clients.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes, taking into account the existing infrastructure.
  • Tool Proficiency: Effectively utilize a range of plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Detect and rectify issues within pipe and pipeline systems using various techniques.
  • Leak Detection: Identify and resolve leaks from unidentified sources.
  • Drain Maintenance: Conduct comprehensive drain cleaning services.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understand and adhere to building codes to ensure optimal work practices.
  • Record Keeping: Complete all required forms, reports, logs, and records detailing services rendered and recommendations provided.
  • Safety Standards: Follow safety protocols, established procedures, and quality benchmarks.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve sales targets and metrics through effective customer engagement and service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in residential plumbing.
  • Thorough understanding of plumbing principles, water distribution, and waste disposal systems.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor, capable of fostering a positive company image.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a readiness to assist in all business areas.
  • Analytical, quality-focused, and results-oriented.
  • Physically able to manage workload demands.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment assessments and physical evaluations.

Physical Requirements
