A self-starter who thrives in a team environment, the candidate must demonstrate confidence and forward-thinking capabilities. This position demands strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to manage time effectively and perform under pressure to meet deadlines across multiple events and experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development, planning, and execution of experiences that embody our brand and forge emotional connections with attendees, ultimately enhancing relationships and driving business growth; collaborate closely with sponsorship colleagues to utilize sponsorship venues effectively.
- Engage with business line stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and devise creative experiential strategies that fulfill their objectives while delivering unforgettable experiences for our clients across the enterprise.
- Work collaboratively and present to key stakeholders, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts within marketing and the business line.
- Simultaneously manage multiple experiences, adhering to deadlines while remaining adaptable to changing circumstances.
- Research and source vendors, speakers, and venues, managing contracts within internal systems for onboarding, risk assessment, and payment processing.
- Partner with the Commercial Team, Business Banking Team, and other essential stakeholders to curate content and speakers for thought leadership discussions aimed at clients and prospects.
- Coordinate with Marketing Growth Strategists and local Relationship Managers to manage invitation lists effectively.
- Develop post-experience assessments and report on key metrics for each event.
- Travel frequently for meetings, events, and conferences to ensure seamless execution.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify challenges and propose innovative solutions.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal; adept at delivering presentations to leadership.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects concurrently at various planning stages.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in time-sensitive situations.
- Proven track record in developing, managing, and reporting on event KPIs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
- 7-10+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry with a comprehensive understanding of the products and services offered.
- 7+ years of event planning experience.
- A genuine passion for Marketing and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours (including evenings and weekends) and travel as needed for on-site event management, approximately 30% of the time.
Hours per Week: 40 Hours
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
Location: Hybrid model with in-office and remote work options.
