Position Summary

Vallee is in search of a skilled and dedicated full-time Land Surveying Team Leader with comprehensive experience across various aspects of land surveying. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surveying and demonstrate proficiency in the operation and upkeep of surveying instruments, including GPS, total stations, robotics, and level rods. Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous. We encourage applications from individuals who can draft, calculate, and execute fieldwork effectively.

Dependability and the ability to collaborate with team members are essential. Candidates must be reliable, self-driven, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining accurate and thorough field notes. Effective communication between the Team Leader, office staff, and other teams is crucial.

Responsibilities include performing all standard duties associated with a field Team Leader. The ability to interpret plans and identify and resolve issues in design data is vital. This is a full-time, year-round position primarily conducted outdoors, with opportunities to assist in office-related tasks within the surveying firm. Compensation will be based on experience.

  • Preparation and calculation of construction stakeout
  • Preparation of cut sheets
  • Reviewing Drafted Plans
  • Drafting

Requirements:
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, typically from 8 am to 5 pm
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to producing precise work and attention to detail
  • Strong English language and communication skills
  • Eligibility to work under US Law
  • Willingness to work primarily in the field with occasional office duties
  • Familiarity with Carlson Software and/or AutoCAD design software
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs
