Spiritual Care Specialist

The Spiritual Care Specialist is responsible for providing spiritual care services to patients and their families/caregivers. This role involves conducting spiritual assessments, developing individualized plans of care, and providing direct spiritual support.
Responsibilities- Conduct spiritual assessments of patients and their families/caregivers.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the spiritual needs of patients and their families/caregivers.
- Provide direct spiritual support to patients and their families/caregivers, including facilitating memorial services and supporting individuals in their faith practices.
- Serve as a liaison between the hospice team and community clergy/spiritual counselors.
- Maintain accurate records of spiritual care services provided.
- Bachelor's degree in theology or a related field.
- Experience working with death and dying, individuals, and families.
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Comfort in an interfaith setting.
- Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values.
Estimated salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year. Location: Arkansas.
