Construction Project Coordinator - Lead Inspector / Field Supervisor

Professional Service Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator / Field Supervisor to become part of our Building & Construction team, focusing on DOT operations. Your Impact at Intertek:
  • Participate in client site meetings as required.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and project teams.
  • Understand the responsibilities outlined in the Project Quality Management Procedures (QMP).
  • Manage document scanning, downloading, and uploading in accordance with company protocols.
  • Collect, catalog, and organize all quality-related documents in line with the company's document control system.
  • Review and revise documents to maintain quality standards.
  • Keep team members informed about new document versions and access procedures.
  • Create templates for use by team members as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive documents.
  • Establish and uphold record retention timelines.
  • Guide and oversee data processing and systems analysis to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Outline and prioritize operational guidelines and deadlines for control departments.
  • Oversee the receipt of emails and ftp files, providing document control services.
  • Evaluate the completeness and accuracy of attached documents and prepare digital copies.
  • Record files in the Document Control System according to transmittal numbers and distribute as necessary.
  • Monitor the promptness and approval of documents, ensuring timely turnover.
  • Assess and transmit documents as required.
  • Manage records of project drawings and correspondence to field personnel.
  • Resolve client inquiries in collaboration with engineers.
  • Supervise the timely distribution of documents and adherence to procedures.
  • Track and issue documents, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
  • Coordinate with clients regarding the provision and revision of documentation as needed.
Qualifications for Success:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is mandatory.
  • 12+ years of experience in the QC/QA and Construction Materials Testing field is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel overnight.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with document management software such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Procore, or other cloud-based systems are preferred.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
  • Required certifications include ICC soils, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC Masonry, ICC Structural Steel and Bolting, NICET Soils and Concrete, ACI field.
