Job Summary

The District Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and profitability within assigned districts. Reporting to the Regional Sales Vice President, this leadership position is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to increase sales revenues from existing clients and acquire new ones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and achieve annual sales quotas for districts and territories
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to project expected sales volume and profit
  • Monitor and evaluate progress towards goals, providing feedback and coaching to TMs
  • Spearhead recruitment, motivation, and development of TMs
  • Lead and facilitate change management to support organizational goals
  • Work closely with internal departments to provide vital information for customer service
  • Maintain and expand customer relationships
  • Regularly interact with internal departments to provide necessary information for customer service
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business
  • 5+ years of sales management experience in the B2B market segment
  • 2-3 years of field sales experience
  • Experience in managing a remote sales team is preferred

Work Environment

This management position demands travel to and from Territory Managers, customers, and prospects in the assigned region as needed. Overnight travel is required for company events, district meetings, training sessions, vendor fairs, and client appointments.
