Job Summary:
The Line Haul Driver will be responsible for driving tractor trailers to deliver and pick up customer freight within a defined geographic area. This role requires safe and efficient delivery of goods while adhering to established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive tractor trailers to transport customer freight between terminals and work sitesSort, handle, load, and unload freight at various locationsPlan routes and schedules for timely deliveries and pickupsFOLLOW established pre-trip, post-trip, freight handling, and billing proceduresConduct inspections to ensure safety and quality standardsRetain and maintain records related to freight and transactionsRequirements:
To be successful as a Line Haul Driver, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A valid Class A commercial driver's license
- A clean motor vehicle record and applicable endorsements
- At least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Physical ability to lift and move objects of varying weights and sizes
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a salary range of $73,000 - $81,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
