Vehicle Fleet Maintenance Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Vehicle Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team at FedEx Freight. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on tractors, trailers, and other equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment.
- Shop Operations: Support shop staff by preparing jobs, cleaning, and maintaining equipment.
- Documentation: Prepare electronic and manual records and reports to track progress and maintain compliance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift components weighing approximately 110 pounds with assistance.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to enter and exit driver's compartment safely.
The estimated salary for this role is $25.46 per hour. We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
