Work Schedule:
Availability required on weekends

Shifts:
Options for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts

Compensation:
$13.13 per hour

Key Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Weekend availability
  • Possession of a security guard card
  • Prior experience in security is highly preferred

Role Overview:
The Non-Armed Security Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of designated areas. Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting foot, vehicle, and bicycle patrols of assigned locations;
  • Monitoring and reporting any suspicious activities or individuals;
  • Documenting incidents through detailed reports;
  • Maintaining daily activity logs;
  • Enforcing site-specific rules and regulations;
  • Responding to emergencies requiring security intervention.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Securing premises and personnel through regular patrols and surveillance;
  • Preventing losses by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies;
  • Logging traffic and verifying delivery documents as per site procedures;
  • Completing end-of-shift incident reports;
  • Providing assistance to associates with security-related inquiries;
  • Monitoring activities in truck yards to ensure facility security;
  • Conducting inspections of vehicles entering and exiting the premises;
  • Identifying and reporting safety and security risks;
  • Delivering excellent customer service by adhering to safety protocols.

Essential Functions:
  • Executing security services as per established guidelines;
  • Conducting patrols as required, including foot and vehicle patrols;
  • Identifying and reporting any security threats or unsafe conditions;
  • Writing clear and concise incident reports during shifts;
  • Adhering to all site-specific policies and emergency procedures;
  • Participating in required training and orientation programs;
  • Responding appropriately to incidents and ensuring timely reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Valid security registration/permit/license as required by state law
  • Ability to provide reliable transportation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor

Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to perform duties in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings;
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and communicate effectively;
  • Ability to concentrate on details and manage multiple tasks under pressure;
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards.
