Job Description

Franklin Companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Community Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of assigned communities or communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of assigned communities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Appearance and Resident Relations: Ensure the appearance and maintenance of assigned communities meet high standards, and foster positive relationships with residents.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned communities, including staff supervision, resident services, and community events.
  • Management Office and Staff: Oversee the management office and staff, including training, development, and performance management.

  • Leadership: Provide direction and leadership to staff, and ensure the achievement of department goals and objectives.
  • Commitment: Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence, and strive for results and success.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, and ensure their needs are met.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Services, or related field.
  • Experience: One year of experience in property management or related field, with a focus on community operations and resident services.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, residents, and stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) certification preferred.
Work Environment:

The work environment for this position is an office setting, with occasional travel to assigned communities. The noise level is moderate, and the position requires high levels of interaction with external and internal clients.
