- Theatre Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the theatre, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Employee Supervision: Supervise and train non-management employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their job requirements.
- Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Financial Management: Count, deposit, and reconcile all receipts taken in during a business day, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Marketing and Promotions: Assist in the marketing and promotion of feature film engagements, scheduling movie showtimes and delivering them to all relevant channels.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all theatre policies and procedures are upheld, including those related to employee conduct, customer service, and financial management.
- Training and Development: Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: At least three months of supervisory experience or six months of theatre experience with completion of the Cast Certification Program.
- Language Ability: Possess good public speaking skills, effectively communicating with employees, vendors, and corporate staff.
- Math Ability: Perform calculations with speed and accuracy, identifying and correcting errors.
- Reasoning Ability: Identify problems, gather relevant data, and recommend solutions, taking action beyond what is necessarily called for.
- Computer and Office Skills: Proven experience with PC platforms and knowledge of basic office programs, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Personal Skills: Interface effectively with customers, the public, and co-workers, exhibiting sensitivity to the feelings of others.
Working Conditions:
The Assistant Manager will work in a fast-paced theatre environment, frequently standing, walking, and using hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee will occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
