Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our External Partnerships and Resource Development efforts. As Senior Director, External Partnerships and Resource Development, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to secure funding and resources from external partners, including governments, foundations, corporations, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Donor Cultivation and Stewardship
    • Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with key donors and stakeholders to secure funding and resources for our global health programs.
    • Develop and implement strategies to deepen relationships with existing donors and identify new opportunities for funding and resource mobilization.
  • Resource Mobilization and Proposal Development
    • Develop and implement strategies to secure funding and resources from external partners, including governments, foundations, corporations, and other stakeholders.
    • Lead the development and submission of proposals to secure funding and resources for our global health programs.
  • Strategic Partnerships and Collaborations
    • Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including governments, foundations, corporations, and other organizations.
    • Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership to advance our global health mission and secure funding and resources.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Advanced degree (PhD, MS, MA) in a relevant field, such as public health, global health, or international development.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, or a related field, with a proven track record of securing funding and resources from external partners.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong network and relationships with key stakeholders, including governments, foundations, corporations, and other organizations.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement effective strategies to secure funding and resources from external partners.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
