As a Local Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our Team Leaders (franchisees) to identify and implement marketing initiatives that attract new clients and enhance store revenue.

Your expertise in local marketing, combined with ongoing communication with our Team Leaders, will be essential in fostering the growth and prosperity of each location.

You will partner with our marketing team to devise a tailored and strategic local marketing approach for stores, as well as monitor and report on key performance metrics that are vital for store development and ongoing success.

Additionally, you will support the social media efforts for individual store accounts, guiding teams on the significance of maintaining an active social media presence.


Key Responsibilities:
Analyze the geographical trade area of a store and formulate a local marketing strategy aimed at acquiring new clients.


Collaborate closely with Team Leaders (Franchisees) to align the proposed local marketing strategy with the grand opening marketing plan, drawing from your research, experience, and their insights.


Initiate business-to-business marketing introductions within the community and identify strategic cross-marketing opportunities that are mutually advantageous and effectively attract new clients while enhancing the brand.


Conduct training sessions to demonstrate local marketing best practices to the local store teams, ensuring consistent local marketing efforts.


Work in tandem with the Field Marketing Manager and Company Marketing Specialists to assess and provide follow-up support for local marketing initiatives based on actual market visits.

Generate comprehensive local marketing reports and document outcomes.

Organize and lead marketing pep rallies at the stores, educating and showcasing local marketing tactics.

Reporting:

Prepare weekly tracking reports using standardized formats to document weekly activities specific to each store, providing these reports to Team Leaders for review and follow-up actions; conduct weekly internal updates on past, current, and upcoming marketing visits.

Develop comprehensive marketing toolkits that offer creative local store marketing solutions for engaging retail, B2B, and community entities/associations.

Support national campaigns (e.g., MVP Moment, Instant Replay, Help A Hero) with coordinated activities in the stores. Ensure all locations utilize Point of Purchase Materials and campaign playbook guides to maximize participation.


Guide the team on the importance of ongoing social media engagement, including posting on platforms such as Facebook, Google My Business, and Instagram.

Perform other job-related duties as necessary.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience

1-2 years of prior experience in field marketing, trade shows, and/or event marketing

Excellent communication skills

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Ability to work independently and make informed decisions

Understanding of sales and marketing functions

Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Physical Demands:

This position may require occasional or frequent moderate physical activity, such as remaining in a stationary position for extended periods and occasional lifting and bending.


Travel:
This role necessitates extensive travel, up to 75%.
