About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, self-starter who is highly organized and excels at communication with kids, their parents, and volunteer leaders. This person must operate out of a mature, Scripture-infused love for Jesus and have a passion for creating a safe, fun, and Jesus-centered environment for kids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive discipleship strategy for kids, aligning with the theology of the church and well-adapted for ages of kids.
  • Oversee Sunday kids classes, ensuring a safe, loving, fun, and spiritually edifying experience for kids of all ages.
  • Recruit, train, and deploy volunteers to support the kids ministry, ensuring they are equipped to create a positive experience for kids.
  • Partner with parents to equip them with resources and support to disciple their kids.
  • Plan and execute major events, such as VBS, Family Advent Experience, and Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast, to engage kids and families in the community.
Requirements
  • Education: A BA or BS degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant ministry experience with kids, with proven expertise in child development and volunteer management.
  • Skills/Abilities: Highly organized, friendly, relational, clear communicator, detail-oriented self-starter, team player with a collaborative spirit.
