WeTheHobby, a trusted and respected brand in the sports collectibles industry, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Production Designer to join our marketing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing graphics such as app thumbnails, logos, promotional materials, and on-screen graphics for our daily livestreams. You will collaborate closely with other Production Designers, and channel managers to meet the unique needs of each channel, ensuring every stream has the necessary creative assets to be successful.

Your responsibilities will encompass the entire creative process, from defining design requirements to visualizing and producing graphics like illustrations, layouts, and promotional materials. Your designs should effectively capture attention, communicate key messages, and help engage and grow our audience.

If you have a strong eye for design, can translate requirements into visually compelling graphics, and enjoy working methodically within a team, we would love to meet you. The goal is to not only inspire and attract our target audience but also to draw in new customers with fun and engaging promotional content.

This role is full-time, located onsite at our beautiful new Headquarters in the Village Gate neighborhood in Rochester, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review daily design briefs to determine project requirements
  • Create visual concepts based on design needs and specifications
  • Prepare initial drafts and refine designs based on feedback
  • Design illustrations, logos, and other creative assets using Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva
  • Collaborate with channel managers and creative director to finalize designs
  • Test graphics across different media platforms for consistency
  • Ensure all final graphics are visually appealing, cohesive, and on-brand
  • Upload thumbnails and final designs to the appropriate channels

Education and/or Experience:

  • BS in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience, required
  • Experience in Adobe Suite specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, required
  • Experience in After Effects, preferred
  • Experience in Canva, preferred
  • Knowledge of professional sports, preferred

In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated wage range for this position based upon location in Rochester, NY and experience is $29.00 per hour.
