Territory Sales Representative

TruGreen is seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling residential lawn care services to new and existing customers in-person.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform outside sales door-to-door, traveling to residential areas to meet with potential customers.
- Sell residential lawn care services, including weed control, fertilization, and insect control, as well as specialized services tailored to the needs of customers.
- Generate additional sales revenue by cross-selling and up-selling to current customers.
- Compile lists of potential customers for use as sales leads based on information from direct mailing/advertisement, community activities, and other resources.
- Identify target geographic areas for sales on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and develop an effective sales pitch to build customer relationships, reinforce value-added services, and answer potential questions to overcome resistance and objections.
- Quote prices, negotiate with customers, and close sales.
- Collect customer contact information for every sale.
- Estimate date of service for customers based on knowledge of branch production and service schedules.
- Walk door-to-door in residential areas to solicit new customers.
- May conduct on-site attic inspections to evaluate the amount of current insulation, measure and calculate square footage, and quote pricing of insulation services from the price list.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports.
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- Customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
- Certification as required by federal, state or local law.

Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English is required. You MUST BE physically located in the United States while performing this job.
