Position Information:
The Pulmonary Diagnostics Respiratory Therapist is responsible for performing pulmonary diagnostic testing and administering respiratory care under a physician's order. This role requires providing patient education and serving as a resource to physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
The Therapist will perform additional duties incidental to the efficient operation of the Pulmonary Function Lab and the Respiratory Care Department as a whole. The Therapist must understand the needs of the organization and support the mission, values, and management of patient care services.Experience Requirements:
1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy is preferred.
Education Required:
An Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Respiratory Therapist, NC Respiratory Care Practitioner, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications are required.
Hours of Work:
7:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
Weekend Requirements:
No weekends are required.
Call Requirements:
