Position Information:
The Respiratory Therapist Team Lead is responsible for the clinical and technical leadership of the Respiratory Care staff. This role ensures effective daily operation over the area of responsibility. The team lead will continue to administer respiratory care under a physician's order, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, intubation, arterial puncture, and analysis, as well as mechanical ventilation of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The team lead plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy, ensuring completion of age-specific competencies. This role understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of patient care services.
Requirements:
Clinical experience in respiratory therapy and emergency/trauma is required. An associate's degree in respiratory therapy is also required. Additionally, a registered respiratory therapist and NC respiratory care practitioner certification are necessary.
Work Schedule:
This role requires a 7pm-7am work schedule. Weekend requirements include every other weekend, and call requirements are yes.
