Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Protective Services Worker to join our Mobile Unit team. As a key member of our team, you will engage with children, families, and caregivers to ensure the safety and well-being of Oregon's most vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct child safety assessments and provide support to families through a trauma-informed and antiracist approach.
  • Travel across the state to provide coverage and support to Child Protective Services Workers in various offices.
  • Develop and implement plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex cases and provide comprehensive support.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse populations, including families, caregivers, and community members.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with relevant experience or training.
  • One year of human services-related experience, or completion of coursework equivalent to certification consistent with Oregon Caseworker Competency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to navigate technology, including computer systems and databases, such as ORKIDS.
