About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Liberty Mutual team as a Product Owner II for Risk Proposal and Issuance. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing epics, features, and stories to ensure alignment with customer needs and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including segment level and executive leadership, to define and prioritize epics, features, and stories.
* Ensure the product backlog is up-to-date and prioritized, and that clear, actionable user stories are created.
* Participate in squad/team demos, retrospectives, and other ceremonies to ensure alignment and progress.
* Balance tactical and strategic decisions for the product, collaborating with peer product owners, managers, portfolio product owners, and other technical leaders as necessary.

Requirements

* Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and IT project management, typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of direct experience with agile teams, as well as 7 years in business, technology, or consulting.
* Ability to depict and explain complex ideas, issues, and designs to varied audiences, and to educate stakeholders on business vision and plan and the impact of change.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders and make difficult and quick decisions daily.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead a team to push solutions and progress.
